THE TASK
For this project I was tasked to create a distinct brand for myself, to situate myself in a job position that best aligns with my strengths and preferences. Additionally, I was tasked to make printable brand identity pieces that I could hand out and use to show case my brand. I began by deeply reflecting on where I wanted to go in my career and concluded that I want my brand to align with brands such as LEGO, Hasbro, Toys R Us, and GameStop. Therefore, I set out to ensure that my brand reflects the feelings of youthfulness, boldness, fun and professional.

INITIAL PROCESS
Once I had idea of the direction I wanted to move in, I then created a simple mood-board that would help inspire my own brand. These pieces of inspiration would later help me develop my style guide.
STYLE GUIDE
Next, I moved on to developing a style guide for my brand, using Adobe Illustrator, which consisted of a logo, typography, colours and graphics. The colours were heavily inspired by brands such s LEGO, and Toys R Us. Additionally, the font used for the header was inspired my the LEGO logo. For the logo, I designed simple cartoon graphic of myself that is fun and playful.

FINAL BRAND PIECES
For my final printable brand identity pieces I chose to create a folder that could hold files, stickers, and a business card. Following the style guide, I created these pieces that I could use to showcase and advertise my brand. For the business card, and file folder I used Adobe Illustrator, and for the stickers I used Adobe InDesign  Overall, these pieces came out great and this project would serve as the stepping stone of my personal brand.
