THE TASK
For this project, I was tasked to come up with my own 3D packaging for an original product of my making. Immediately gravitated towards creating my own gummy multivitamin brand for this 3D packaging project as I enjoy the fun colourful packaging that these type of product tent to have. After brainstorming, I chose the brand name Reflow.

INITIAL PROCESS
I first began by designing the logo of this brand which would serve as the focal point of the product packaging. Using Adobe Illustrator, I quickly designed a simple logo for my brand which was bright and had an energetic feel. I then created a mood-board which would help me to get a better understanding of how I wanted my final design to look and feel. Next, I sketched out a sample design of how I wanted my final package to look.
FINAL DESIGN
Following the basic design from my sketch, and using Adobe Illustrator, I created the unassembled packaging for the Reflow gummy vitamin. For the gummy pattern in the back ground I used the 3D tool in Adobe Illustrator. I made sure to add the necessary packaging elements such as a barcode, nutrition facts, and ingredients.
ASSEMBLING THE PACKAGING
Once my packaging design was complete, I printed my design out and folded it together to create my tangible final 3D packaging for Reflow gummy multivitamins. I used glue and cardboard on the inside of the packaging to ensure that it held together well. My final design turned out better than I could have hoped and I had great time going through the process of creating my own original packaging design.
