THE TASK
For this school project I was tasked to create my very own issue of Architectural Digest(AD) magazine. To do so I would have to conduct extensive research on AD's brand style, voice, tone design, etc...
INTIAL PROCESS
I went through previous recent issues of this magazine and analyzed every aspect such as the page size, margins, grid structure, typography, imagery and layout. Although I did not have access to the same exact fonts the AD uses, I found some others to use in replacement.
Establishing a style
Next, I gathered some assets to organize on a mood-board to help visually get a general understanding of AD's style and what I wanted my magazine look and feel like.
Creating the Cover
